Trillion Appoints Jim Dovey Chairman of the Board

AUSTIN, TEXAS – May 31, 2006 - Trillion, the leading provider of broadband network services to the education market, today announced the appointment of Jim Dovey as Chairman of the Board.  Dovey, who has served as a board member for three years, replaces Terry Johnson, who recently retired from the board.

"Jim has been instrumental to the success and growth of Trillion’s business over the past three years," said Bear Poth, Trillion’s president and CEO. "In his new role, we look to Jim’s wealth of talent and experience in telecommunications to guide Trillion’s rapid growth.”

Mr. Dovey has developed and managed several successful communications companies, including Meritage portfolio company Completel, where he was the co-founding Chairman and CEO. He was the founding CEO of TeleWest, a communications joint venture of TCI International and USWest in the United Kingdom. Under his leadership, TeleWest grew into the premier cable access provider of bundled telephone and video services over its fiber optic networks, leading the industry’s competitive efforts against British Telecom.
